A minister friend of mine told me of a liberal African American Minister in his town who expressed interest in UUism, saying to my friend, “My Jesus is talking to your Jesus.” I’ll look at some of what that might mean in my friend’s community and here, and we’ll see what happens if only “My Jesus” fits on the sign out front.
