In honor of Women’s History Month, we’ll look at the life and work of Sophia Fahs, who moved from being an evangelical Christian to a leading figure in Unitarian Universalist religious education. Among other innovations, Fahs argued that children should not be exposed to the Bible until they were capable of understanding history.

This is canvass kick-off Sunday, and thus this would be “The Sermon on the Amount.” This year, however, I want to look more widely at the phenomenon of religion and money, including the work of Dave Ramsey. Ramsey’s “Financial Peace” program is said to be offered in over 10,000 churches.
