The UUA has been studying peacemaking for several years as part of it process of adopting Statements of Conscience. The statement proposed at last summer’s General Assembly was not adopted; a new statement has been proposed and
25% of our congregations must approve placing it on next summer’s GA agenda. We’ll look at some of what we’ve learned about peacemaking and the new proposal.
